The A2 paper bag from Authentics is a series of extremely lightweight bags made from synthetic paper, which is durable, water-repellent and dirt-repellent.
Stefan Diez uses a newly developed synthetic paper material for his Authentics collection. While it looks like traditional paper made from plant fibers, it boasts significantly more durable properties: highly tear-resistant, dirt- and water-repellent, this material can also be used to create innovative accessories for a more beautiful home and lifestyle. Instead of a brand print or statement, Stefan Diez opted for a unique handle on the A2-sized bag: instead of the usual two straps, several wafer-thin bands are punched from the material. This makes it immediately clear that this paper bag is not intended for shopping but rather for storage – whether for gift wrap, sketchbooks, cushions, blankets, or anything else you want to keep within easy reach but discreetly stored. And if the material loses its appeal after intensive use, it can be fully recycled.
